Lopen Karma Wangchuk

Born into the illustrious family lineage of the great Treasure Revealer Dorji Lingpa within the Kingdom of Bhutan, Lopen Karma Wangchuk carries a profound hereditary connection to the Dharma. He entered the Ngagyur Nyingma Institute (Namdroling Monastery) under the supreme guidance of His Holiness Penor Rinpoche, where he devoted himself to twelve years of rigorous study and practice. Since completing his intensive training, he has worked tirelessly to propagate the Dharma across the United States, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.

His profound mastery of sacred rituals and his spiritual realization, both duly recognized within his lineage, led to his appointment as the Dorji Lopen (Vajra Master) of the Ugyen Pema Zangdopalri in Paro, Bhutan—a role of significant spiritual responsibility.

Deeply moved by the suffering caused by global conflicts, pandemics, and the imbalance of the four elements, Lopen Karma Wangchuk witnessed the restlessness of sentient beings and made a solemn vow: to construct a World Peace Stupa and 108 Wish-Fulfilling Stupas. Guided by sincere compassion, he aspires to walk alongside all beings in building these monuments of peace, dedicating the merit to global illumination, harmony, and collective well-being.
